Ranking the Top Roofing Companies in Corvallis and Albany Based on Digital Marketing Visibility

I spent far too much of my time analyzing local roofing companies across five digital marketing categories to see who's doing the best job attracting customers online.

Look, I'm a competitive guy, which means I love a good ranking system.

The AP Top 25. The MLB Top 100. If it's a ranking, I'm interested. And if you're a business owner, especially one in growth mode, you're probably paying attention to rankings too.

But this isn't a ranking of the best roofing companies in the Corvallis-Albany area. In fact, this methodology doesn't evaluate reliability, customer service, quality of work, craftsmanship, pricing, or anything else related to the actual roofing services these companies provide. A company at the bottom of this list could very well be one of the best roofing contractors on the planet. That's simply not what this ranking measures.

I've been working in digital marketing for nearly 10 years, and over that time I've gotten pretty good at analyzing the digital landscape of an industry and identifying who's doing it well and who's leaving opportunities on the table.

So I created a methodology built on a 100-point scale that ranks service-based companies based on the effectiveness of their digital marketing strategy and online visibility.

Why should you care about this ranking?

Digital visibility matters because it's often the difference between getting found and getting ignored. When a homeowner needs a roof repair, replacement, or inspection, they're typically turning to Google first. The companies that consistently appear in search results, maps, reviews, and advertisements have a significant advantage in capturing those opportunities. This ranking is designed to measure which companies are winning that battle online.

The methodology

Now, I'm not going to give away the entire secret sauce, but I will explain how the methodology works.

The ranking system evaluates businesses across five core digital marketing categories, each weighted differently based on its impact on overall visibility and lead generation.

Those categories are:

I researched each company and assigned points based on a variety of digital marketing best practices within those categories. For example, a company running paid campaigns across multiple channels may earn a higher score in Paid Advertising. Likewise, a company with excellent page speed may gain points in Website User Experience, while losing points if its website performs poorly on mobile devices.

Each category contains multiple scoring factors, which helps create a more balanced ranking. During my research, I found companies with dated website designs that still scored well because their page speed and technical performance were excellent. Others had visually appealing websites but lacked the technical foundation needed to compete online.

The goal wasn't to reward one specific marketing tactic. It was to evaluate the overall strength of a company's digital presence.

A note on timing and data collection

All research for this report was conducted between September 22-24, 2026, and reflects what was publicly observable during that period.

To evaluate local SEO visibility and paid search presence, search queries were selected based on the terms prospective customers would be most likely to use when researching roofing services. This included both residential and commercial intent searches related to roof replacement, roof repair, emergency roofing services, commercial roofing systems, and location-specific roofing contractors. The goal was not to identify every possible keyword variation, but rather to assess how visible each company was for the core searches most closely aligned with high-intent customers actively seeking roofing solutions in the local market.

Digital marketing activity can change quickly. For example, a company may pause paid advertising campaigns due to budget constraints, seasonality, staffing capacity, or strategic decisions. As a result, some businesses may have received lower scores in the Paid Advertising category if no active campaigns were visible during the research period, even if they regularly advertise throughout the year.

Similarly, website updates, review counts, SEO rankings, and other digital marketing metrics can change over time.

This report should be viewed as a snapshot of each company's digital visibility at the time the research was conducted, not as a permanent assessment of its marketing efforts or business performance.

A note if your company isn't listed

I did my best to include roofing companies that have a physical presence in the Corvallis-Albany area. Some contractors that serve the area may not appear on this list because they're headquartered elsewhere, such as Salem or Eugene.

If you own a roofing company in Corvallis or Albany and don't see your business here, there's a good chance it's because you have little to no digital footprint that I could find during my research.

If that's the case, I'd be happy to provide a free digital marketing audit. Together, we can identify opportunities to improve your visibility, generate more leads, and compete more effectively online.

Let's get to ranking

Alright, enough data science. Let's get into the rankings.

We'll start at the bottom of the list and work our way to the top.

One final reminder: This ranking is a snapshot of digital visibility as observed on September 22-23, 2026. It evaluates online visibility and digital marketing effectiveness only. It does not evaluate workmanship, pricing, licensing, customer satisfaction beyond publicly available reviews, or overall service quality.

#14 G&A Quality Roofing LLC

G&A Quality Roofing LLC

Overall Score: 14/100

Summary:

G&A Quality Roofing has several foundational elements in place, including a website structure that could support future SEO growth and a reasonably accessible conversion process. However, a lack of paid advertising, weak local SEO signals, poor mobile responsiveness, and limited organic search visibility significantly impact their overall digital presence.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 0/15

No active paid advertising was detected across Google Search, YouTube, or Meta platforms, resulting in no measurable paid search or social media visibility.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 6/15

This was one of G&A's stronger categories. The company responded to an inquiry within four hours, demonstrating reasonable follow-up speed. While the contact form experience had usability issues across different screen sizes, users could easily contact the business throughout the site, with most phone numbers and email links functioning properly.

Website UX

Score: 0/20

The website's overall architecture and content organization are solid and provide a foundation for future content growth. However, the site performs poorly on mobile and tablet devices due to responsiveness issues that make navigation more difficult. Combined with low page speed scores, these usability challenges significantly reduce the overall user experience.

SEO Visibility

Score: 5/35

Across 10 high-intent roofing-related Google searches, G&A appeared only twice, both within the local map pack. Limited content depth and a lack of broader search optimization likely contribute to the company's low organic search visibility.

Brand Reputation & Local SEO

Score: 3/15

G&A ranked in the bottom 20% of businesses evaluated in this category. The primary challenge is an underdeveloped Google Business Profile with a limited number of reviews, reducing both local search prominence and consumer trust signals.

#13 Onit Roofing LLC

Onit Roofing

Overall Score: 15/100

Summary:

Onit's digital presence is currently limited by a combination of poor website usability, weak organic search visibility, and an underdeveloped local SEO strategy. The website contains several technical and user experience issues that make it difficult for visitors to engage with content or complete conversion actions confidently. The company was not found in any of the roofing-related Google searches evaluated and has a limited review presence on its Google Business Profile. While the lead form itself is simple to complete, improvements to follow-up processes, user experience, local SEO, and content development would significantly strengthen its overall marketing performance.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 0/15

No active paid advertising was detected across Google Search, YouTube, or Meta platforms, resulting in no measurable paid search or social media visibility.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 2/15

Onit's lead capture process showed several gaps in the customer journey. No same-day follow-up was received after submitting an inquiry, reducing confidence in the company's lead management process. While the contact form was quick and easy to complete, the submission confirmation lacked clarity, leaving uncertainty about whether the request had been successfully received. Conversion opportunities were also inconsistent throughout the site, with some phone numbers functioning as clickable links while others did not.

Website UX

Score: 0/20

The site has the foundation of a potentially effective website, but significant usability issues severely impact the overall experience. Several pages lacked meaningful content, including a finance page with no information. Excessive motion effects and animated elements created distractions that made the site difficult to navigate. In addition, text was frequently cut off, truncated, or difficult to read across different screen sizes. Combined, these issues resulted in one of the weakest user experiences among the companies evaluated.

SEO Visibility

Score: 4/35

Across 10 high-intent roofing-related Google searches, Onit did not appear in any organic or local results. This was the company's lowest-performing category, highlighting a significant lack of search visibility. The absence of rankings suggests limited content depth, weak local optimization, and minimal authority in search engines.

Brand Reputation & Local SEO

Score: 3/15

Onit ranked in the bottom 20% of businesses evaluated in this category. The primary challenge is an underdeveloped Google Business Profile with a limited number of reviews, reducing both local search visibility and consumer trust. Strengthening review generation efforts and optimizing the profile would likely have the greatest immediate impact on local presence.

#12 Rosecrans Roofing

Rosecrans Roofing

Score: 23/100

Rosecrans Roofing stands out for its strong lead response process and conversion experience, achieving the highest score in the Marketing Automation & Lead Capture category. However, the company struggles with online visibility due to the absence of paid advertising, limited organic search presence, and a weak local SEO footprint. While the website has a solid structural foundation, improvements to design, content depth, and user engagement would help better support future marketing growth.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 0/15

No active paid advertising was detected across Google Search, YouTube, or Meta platforms, resulting in no measurable paid search or social media visibility.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 12/15

Rosecrans earned the highest score in this category thanks to an effective lead follow-up process. An automated SMS response was sent immediately after form submission, followed shortly by a personalized message from the company. Calls-to-action were prominently displayed throughout the website, making it easy for visitors to request information and take the next step.

Website UX

Score: 4/20

The website benefits from a well-organized structure and logical navigation, providing a solid foundation for future growth. However, the overall experience is held back by limited content depth, a lack of high-quality visual assets, and an underwhelming design. Content is not easily scannable, making it harder for users to quickly find key information and engage with the site.

SEO Visibility

Score: 4/35

Across 10 high-intent roofing-related Google searches, Rosecrans did not appear in any organic or local results. This was the company's lowest-performing category and indicates significant challenges with search visibility. The lack of rankings suggests limited content authority, insufficient local optimization, and a relatively small organic search footprint.

Brand Reputation & Local SEO

Score: 3/15

Rosecrans ranked in the bottom 20% of businesses evaluated in this category. The primary challenge is an underdeveloped Google Business Profile with a limited number of reviews, reducing both local search visibility and consumer trust. Strengthening review generation efforts and optimizing the profile would likely have the greatest immediate impact on local presence.

#11 Valley Brothers Roofing

Valley Brothers Roofing

Score: 25/100

Valley Brothers Roofing has a functional website and a modest foundation for lead generation, but several shortcomings limit its ability to attract and convert customers effectively. The company has no active paid advertising presence and struggles to rank in organic or local search results. While the site's navigation and mobile responsiveness are adequate, limited content depth and weak visual presentation reduce its effectiveness. Improvements to lead capture, follow-up processes, content development, and local SEO would likely have the greatest impact on overall marketing performance.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 0/15

No active paid advertising was detected across Google Search, YouTube, or Meta platforms, resulting in no measurable paid search or social media visibility.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 5/15

The lead capture experience presents several friction points that likely reduce conversion rates. The quote request process is lengthy and can feel overwhelming for prospective customers, especially when compared to the simpler contact form elsewhere on the site. While opportunities to convert are available, they could be made more prominent through persistent calls-to-action, such as a sticky contact button. Additionally, no same-day follow-up was received after inquiry submission, and there was little confirmation that the form had been successfully submitted beyond a redirect to another page, creating unnecessary uncertainty for users.

Website UX

Score: 8/20

This was a below-average category for Valley Brothers. The first impression of the homepage is weakened by poor text readability within the hero section, where image contrast makes key messaging difficult to see. Content throughout the site is relatively thin and lacks the depth needed to effectively educate or persuade visitors. However, navigation is intuitive and the site performs adequately across mobile devices, providing a functional, if not particularly engaging, user experience.

SEO Visibility

Score: 6/35

Across 10 high-intent roofing-related Google searches, Valley Brothers did not appear in any organic or local results. This was the company's weakest category and highlights significant challenges with search visibility. The lack of rankings is likely tied to limited content development, a small number of service-focused pages, and insufficient local SEO optimization. Expanding website content and strengthening local search signals would be critical to improving visibility.

Brand Reputation & Local SEO

Score: 6/15

Valley Brothers ranked in the bottom 20% of businesses evaluated in this category. The primary challenge is an underdeveloped Google Business Profile with a limited number of reviews, reducing both local search visibility and consumer trust. Strengthening review generation efforts and optimizing the profile would likely have the greatest immediate impact on local presence.

#10 Palmar Roofing & Siding

Palmar Roofing & Siding

Score: 29.5/100

Summary

Palmar Roofing & Siding demonstrates some of the strongest organic search visibility among the companies evaluated, appearing on the first page of Google results for several high-intent roofing-related searches. The company also provides a relatively streamlined lead capture experience with clear conversion opportunities throughout the website. However, its overall performance is limited by the absence of paid advertising, shallow website content, inconsistent lead follow-up, and a relatively small review presence. With stronger content development, improved local SEO, and more proactive lead nurturing, Palmar has an opportunity to significantly improve its digital presence.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 0/15

No active paid advertising was detected across Google Search, YouTube, or Meta platforms, resulting in no measurable paid search or social media visibility.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 8/15

Palmar performed well in this category overall. Conversion opportunities were prominently displayed throughout the website, making it easy for visitors to take action when ready. Calls-to-action were consistently visible, creating a relatively frictionless path to requesting a quote or contacting the business. However, the lack of same-day follow-up after inquiry submission prevented a higher score and represents a missed opportunity to engage potential customers while interest is highest.

Website UX

Score: 7/20

The website is clean, visually organized, and built on a logical site structure that makes navigation relatively straightforward. However, the overall user experience is held back by limited content depth across key pages. While the design is functional and professional, the site lacks the robust service information, educational content, and supporting assets needed to build authority and effectively guide visitors through the decision-making process.

SEO Visibility

Score: 8.5/35

This was Palmar's strongest category. Across 10 high-intent roofing-related Google searches, the company appeared on the first page of results for five searches. While these rankings demonstrate a stronger organic presence than many competitors evaluated, the company rarely appeared near the top of the results and was not present in Google's Local Map Pack or AI Overview results. Strengthening local SEO signals, developing additional service-focused content, and building website authority could help improve these rankings further.

Brand Reputation & Local SEO

Score: 6/15

Palmar's score in this category was largely impacted by a relatively small number of Google reviews compared to higher-performing competitors. While the company maintains a local presence, a stronger review profile would improve both consumer trust and local search visibility. Increasing review generation efforts and further optimizing the Google Business Profile would likely provide meaningful gains in local rankings.

#9 Ruiz Roofing

Ruiz Roofing

Score: 31/100

Summary

Ruiz Roofing benefits from a solid local reputation and a respectable number of customer reviews, giving it stronger credibility than many competitors evaluated in this report. However, that reputation is not translating into online visibility or lead generation performance. The company has no active paid advertising, limited search visibility, and several website usability issues that make it difficult for prospective customers to engage with the business. While the website loads quickly, improvements to conversion pathways, mobile usability, content depth, and SEO would significantly enhance Ruiz Roofing's ability to attract and convert new customers.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 0/15

No active paid advertising was detected across Google Search, YouTube, or Meta platforms, resulting in no measurable paid search or social media visibility.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 2/15

The primary weakness in this category is the lack of clear conversion opportunities throughout the website. Visitors are largely directed toward calling the business, yet the phone number displayed in the sticky navigation is not clickable, creating unnecessary friction in the customer journey. There is also no prominent quote request or contact form CTA visible throughout the site. After submitting a form, no same-day follow-up was received, further reducing the effectiveness of the lead capture process.

Website UX

Score: 8/20

Despite strong page speed performance, the website presents several usability challenges that negatively impact the user experience. Content throughout the site is relatively limited, reducing its ability to educate prospective customers and establish trust. Contact opportunities are inconsistently presented, and calls-to-action are not prominently featured across the user journey. Additionally, unusual URL structures create a less polished experience and may impact perceived credibility. The most significant concern is the mobile experience, where navigation and usability become noticeably more difficult. These issues collectively create friction for visitors and limit conversion opportunities.

SEO Visibility

Score: 12/35

Across 10 high-intent roofing-related Google searches, Ruiz did not appear in any organic or local results.

Score: 9/15

This was one of Ruiz Roofing's strongest categories. The company ranked in the top 60% of businesses evaluated and maintains a respectable number of customer reviews. This review profile provides valuable credibility and helps strengthen its presence within Google's local business results. Continuing to generate reviews and further optimize the Google Business Profile would help build upon this advantage and increase local visibility.

#8 Sprick Roofing Co.

Sprick Roofing

Score: 31/100 (Tied with Ruiz Roofing)

Summary

Sprick Roofing stands out for its strong organic search visibility and extensive website content, outperforming many competitors in SEO-related categories. However, those strengths are offset by an outdated website experience, poor mobile usability, and a lead capture process that creates unnecessary friction for prospective customers. While the company has built enough content to establish search authority, improvements to website design, conversion optimization, and local reputation management would help turn that visibility into more inquiries and leads.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 0/15

No active paid advertising was detected across Google Search, YouTube, or Meta platforms, resulting in no measurable paid search or social media visibility.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 2/15

This was one of Sprick's weakest categories. The website makes it unnecessarily difficult for prospective customers to contact the company. The primary contact form is buried near the bottom of the contact page, reducing its visibility and likelihood of use. Phone numbers are rarely clickable throughout the site, creating additional friction for mobile users. Additionally, no same-day follow-up was received after submitting an inquiry, indicating opportunities to improve lead response and nurturing processes.

Website UX

Score: 8/20

Sprick's website appears significantly outdated and lacks many of the usability standards expected from a modern service business website. The design feels dated, navigation can be confusing, and the site is not fully optimized for mobile devices. Despite these shortcomings, the website does contain a substantial amount of useful information, including FAQs and educational content that prospective customers may find valuable. However, the content organization makes it easy for visitors to become lost, and the absence of dedicated service pages limits both user experience and SEO performance. The lack of prominent calls-to-action and non-clickable phone numbers further reduce the site's effectiveness as a lead generation tool.

SEO Visibility

Score: 15/35

This was Sprick's strongest category by a significant margin. Across 10 high-intent roofing-related searches, Sprick appeared in Google's AI Overview three times and was present on the first page of search results seven times. This performance reflects the depth of content available on the website and demonstrates a stronger organic search presence than many competitors evaluated. While rankings are strong, additional improvements to site structure, service pages, and local SEO could help increase visibility even further.

Brand Reputation & Local SEO

Score: 6/15

Despite strong organic search performance, Sprick's local SEO presence is limited by a relatively small number of Google reviews. With only 11 reviews on its Google Business Profile, the company lacks some of the trust and authority signals that help businesses rank prominently in local map results. Increasing review volume and further optimizing the Google Business Profile would likely improve both local visibility and consumer confidence.

#7 Efficient Roofing LLC

Efficient Roofing

Score: 40.5/100

Summary

Efficient Roofing is the first company in this analysis to demonstrate a well-rounded digital presence across multiple channels. The company benefits from strong organic visibility, active Google advertising, and a solid foundation of customer reviews. However, its overall performance is held back by an outdated website experience, poor mobile responsiveness, and inconsistent lead follow-up. Despite these shortcomings, Efficient Roofing ranks among the stronger digital performers evaluated and has a solid foundation to build upon.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 6/15

Efficient Roofing was active across multiple Google advertising channels, giving it greater visibility than many competitors evaluated. However, the company appeared infrequently for high-intent Google Search queries directly related to its services, limiting the overall effectiveness of its paid advertising efforts. No active advertising presence was detected on Meta platforms.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 8/15

The company's lead capture process is generally straightforward and user-friendly. A persistent "Get Estimate" call-to-action and clickable phone number in the navigation make it easy for visitors to take action at any point during their journey. However, no same-day follow-up was received after inquiry submission, preventing a higher score and representing a missed opportunity to engage prospective customers.

Website UX

Score: 7/20

This was one of Efficient Roofing's weaker categories. While the site's navigation and overall page structure are logical and easy to understand, the user experience is significantly impacted by poor responsiveness across mobile and tablet devices. The design feels outdated, and many of the animated elements add visual clutter without improving usability. Although the site's architecture supports content discovery, the lack of polish and mobile optimization reduces its effectiveness.

SEO Visibility

Score: 10.5/35

Despite its outdated design, Efficient Roofing performs relatively well in organic search. The website's content depth helps it rank for a broad range of roofing-related searches, placing it among the top-performing companies evaluated for organic visibility. The company's content strategy appears to be a key contributor to its search presence and helps offset some of the weaknesses in its website experience.

Brand Reputation & Local SEO

Score: 6/15

Efficient Roofing ranks in the top 60% of businesses evaluated in this category. With 41 Google reviews and a 5-star rating, the company has established a solid level of social proof and credibility. This review profile likely contributes to stronger consumer trust and improves its ability to generate leads through local search channels. Continued review generation would help strengthen this advantage further.

#6 Eagle Point Roofing

Eagle Point Roofing

Overall Score: 45.5/100

Summary

Eagle Point Roofing has built one of the stronger overall digital presences among the companies evaluated, driven by a well-designed website, strong local SEO performance, and a solid reputation on Google. While the company has no active paid advertising presence, it performs well organically thanks to a highly optimized Google Business Profile and strong local credibility. The website provides a clean, professional user experience with clear conversion paths, though additional content depth and dedicated service pages would help further improve both search visibility and lead generation.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 0/15

This was Eagle Point Roofing's weakest category. No active advertising was detected across Google Search, YouTube, Meta, or other major digital advertising platforms, resulting in no measurable paid ad visibility.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 7/15

The lead capture experience is straightforward and user-friendly. Visitors can submit an inquiry easily, but the form was stuck loading for about 30 seconds before submitting, which could easily cause frustration and friction in the conversion process. Calls-to-action are prominently displayed throughout the website, making it easy to take the next step. However, the experience lacks several elements commonly associated with higher-converting websites, including an immediate confirmation email, automated follow-up messaging, and a dedicated thank-you experience after form submission. These improvements could help reinforce trust and increase lead engagement.

Website UX

Score: 13/20

This was one of Eagle Point Roofing's strongest categories. The website features a clean, modern design with clear navigation, clickable phone numbers, and prominent calls-to-action throughout the user journey. The overall experience feels professional and welcoming, making it easy for visitors to find key information and contact the company. The primary opportunity for improvement is content structure. Much of the content resides within sections of larger pages rather than dedicated service pages, which limits the site's ability to fully educate customers and support long-term SEO growth. Despite this limitation, the website provides one of the stronger user experiences in the evaluation.

SEO Visibility

Score: 13.5/35

Despite having relatively limited website content compared to some competitors, Eagle Point Roofing performs well in search results. The company appeared in two AI Overview results and five Local Map Pack results across the commercial roofing searches analyzed. This strong visibility appears to be driven primarily by an optimized Google Business Profile and strong local authority rather than extensive website content. Developing additional service-specific content could help strengthen organic performance even further.

Brand Reputation & Local SEO

Score: 12/15

This was one of Eagle Point Roofing's strongest categories. The company ranked among the top 40% of businesses evaluated, supported by 42 Google reviews and an impressive 4.8-star rating. This strong review profile helps build consumer trust, increases credibility in local search results, and likely contributes significantly to its strong Local Map Pack visibility.

#5 Renaissance Roofing

Renaissance Roofing

Overall Score: 48/100

Alright, we’ve made it to the top 5. Honestly if you read this far, I’m sorry.

Summary

Renaissance Roofing earns a spot in the top five largely due to its exceptional local reputation and strong review profile. The company demonstrates solid SEO performance, active Google advertising, and a website that provides substantial information for prospective customers. However, several opportunities remain, including modernizing the website experience, improving mobile responsiveness, and implementing stronger lead follow-up processes. While Renaissance has built a credible digital presence, optimizing these areas would help convert more of its existing visibility into qualified leads.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 6/15

Renaissance Roofing maintains an active presence across multiple Google advertising placements and campaigns, giving it broader paid visibility than many competitors. However, the company appeared infrequently for the most commercially valuable roofing searches evaluated, so campaign optimization is necessary. No advertising activity was detected on Meta platforms, limiting its reach across social channels.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 5/15

The website makes it relatively easy for prospective customers to request a quote or get in touch, with clear calls-to-action positioned throughout the site. However, the lead nurturing process falls short after form submission. No same-day follow-up was received, representing a missed opportunity to engage potential customers when purchase intent is highest. While converting is straightforward, stronger automation and follow-up processes could significantly improve lead engagement.

Website UX

Score: 8/20

Renaissance Roofing's website contains a substantial amount of information and educational content, helping visitors learn about services and roofing options. However, the overall experience feels dated and lacks the visual polish of top-performing websites. The design relies heavily on generic stock imagery, reducing authenticity and brand differentiation. Mobile responsiveness is also inconsistent, creating usability challenges across different screen sizes. Additionally, the financing section redirects users directly to a third-party banking website, which can create friction and disrupt the customer journey. While the content is valuable and functional, design and user experience enhancements would significantly improve engagement.

SEO Visibility

Score: 14/35

Renaissance Roofing performs relatively well in organic search due to the depth and breadth of content available on its website. The company ranks for a meaningful number of roofing-related keywords within its service area, demonstrating a stronger SEO foundation than many competitors. However, it did not appear for several of the high-priority commercial-intent searches included in this analysis, preventing it from achieving a higher score. Continued content expansion and stronger local optimization could further improve visibility.

Brand Reputation & Local SEO

Score: 15/15

This was Renaissance Roofing's strongest category and the primary driver behind its top-five ranking. The company ranks among the top 20% of businesses evaluated and has built an impressive review profile with approximately 150 Google reviews and a 4.8-star rating. This level of social proof significantly enhances credibility, consumer trust, and local search visibility, helping Renaissance stand out in a competitive market.

#4 Stutzman and Kropf Contractors

Stutzman and Kropf

Score: 51.5/100

Summary

Stutzman and Kropf Contractors has built one of the strongest digital marketing foundations among the companies evaluated. The company maintains an active presence across both Google and Meta advertising platforms, performs well in organic search, and has established strong credibility through an active Google Business Profile. While the website contains deep, helpful content and makes it easy for visitors to contact the company, performance issues and an overly lengthy lead form create friction in the customer journey. Overall, Stutzman and Kropf combines strong visibility with a solid reputation, earning its place among the top performers in this analysis.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 11/15

Stutzman and Kropf demonstrated one of the most visible paid advertising strategies in the market. The company appeared across Google Search and multiple other Google advertising placements, while also maintaining an active presence on Meta through various ad formats and messaging approaches. Although the company did not appear for several of the highest-intent roofing-related searches evaluated, its broad advertising footprint indicates a mature and diversified paid media strategy.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 5/15

The website makes it easy for visitors to take action, with prominent calls-to-action displayed throughout the site and clickable phone numbers readily available. However, the primary lead form is significantly longer than necessary and likely creates unnecessary friction in the conversion process. Reducing the number of required fields could help increase lead volume and improve completion rates. Additionally, no same-day follow-up was received after inquiry submission, preventing the company from scoring higher in this category.

Website UX

Score: 4/20

While this score appears low, much of it was driven by website performance issues rather than content quality. Large assets and slow page load times negatively impacted the overall user experience. Outside of performance concerns, the website is well-structured, easy to navigate, and contains substantial content that addresses many of the questions prospective customers are likely to have. The design is functional and professional, though it lacks the visual refinement and polish of some higher-performing websites.

SEO Visibility

Score: 19.5/35

This was one of Stutzman and Kropf's strongest categories. The company appeared in one Local Map Pack result and ranked on the first page of Google for six of the ten high-intent roofing searches evaluated. This strong performance is largely driven by extensive local SEO efforts, service-area page development, and deep expertise-focused content throughout the website. The company has clearly invested in building an organic search presence and is seeing the benefits through increased visibility.

Brand Reputation & Local SEO

Score: 12/15

Stutzman and Kropf ranked among the top 40% of businesses evaluated in this category. An active and optimized Google Business Profile, combined with more than 70 reviews and a 4.6-star rating, provides strong social proof and local credibility. This review profile helps improve visibility in local search results while reinforcing trust among prospective customers.

#3 Monroys Roofing

Monroys Roofing

Score: 52.5/100

Summary

Monroy's Roofing earns its place in the top three through a combination of strong local credibility, solid search visibility, effective lead response practices, and active digital advertising. While the website experience is held back by performance and design shortcomings, the company compensates with excellent customer trust signals, responsive lead management, and a strong Google Business Profile. Overall, Monroy's has built a well-rounded digital presence that effectively supports both visibility and lead generation.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 7/15

Monroy's Roofing maintains an active paid advertising presence across multiple channels. The company was running Google Search Ads, appeared across several Google advertising formats, and had an active presence on Meta. This diversified approach gives Monroy's broader visibility than most competitors and helps ensure the brand appears in front of prospective customers across multiple stages of the buying journey.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 9/15

This was one of Monroy's stronger categories. The lead form is short, easy to complete, and minimizes friction for prospective customers. Visitors receive clear confirmation that their submission was successfully received, helping build trust and confidence in the process. Most notably, Monroy's responded within four hours of inquiry submission, demonstrating a level of responsiveness that set it apart from many competitors evaluated in this analysis.

Website UX

Score: 4/20

Despite ranking among the top three overall, website user experience was one of Monroy's weaker categories. The site struggles with mobile responsiveness, inconsistent visual design, and slower page performance. While the overall look and feel could benefit from modernization, the website compensates with strong content depth, useful information, and clear calls-to-action throughout the customer journey. Visitors can generally find the information they need, but the experience lacks the polish and usability of higher-performing websites.

SEO Visibility

Score: 17.5/35

Monroy's performed well in organic search. The company appeared in two AI Overview results and maintained visibility across a variety of roofing-related keywords. While it was only found once directly within the first-page search results evaluated, its strong content library and highly optimized Google Business Profile contribute to broader search visibility across its target market. The company has established a strong SEO foundation that helps drive meaningful organic exposure.

Brand Reputation & Local SEO

Score: 15/15

This was Monroy's strongest category and a major factor behind its top-three ranking. With more than 111 Google reviews and an impressive 4.8-star rating, the company has built exceptional credibility and trust within its market. Its active and well-optimized Google Business Profile helps improve local search visibility while providing the social proof many homeowners look for before requesting a quote. Among the companies evaluated, Monroy's ranks within the top 20% for local reputation and review strength.

#2 Alamo Roofing

Alamo Roofing

Score: 55/100

Summary

Alamo Roofing earns the #2 spot by combining exceptional organic search visibility, a strong local reputation, and one of the better website experiences among the companies evaluated. While the company is highly visible in search results and has built a solid foundation for attracting customers online, its overall score is held back by a limited paid advertising strategy and gaps within its lead nurturing process. With stronger multi-channel advertising and improved follow-up automation, Alamo could potentially challenge for the top position.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 3/15

This was Alamo Roofing's weakest category. The company did not maintain an active presence on Google Search Ads, Meta platforms, or other major digital advertising channels. However, it did appear through sponsored Google Business Profile placements for relevant searches, helping maintain visibility in local search results. Expanding into Google Search, Meta, and other paid advertising formats would help Alamo compete more effectively for high-intent prospects and capture additional market share.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 5/15

Alamo Roofing provides a generally clear path to conversion, with calls-to-action prominently displayed throughout the website. Visitors are rarely left wondering what action to take next. However, several opportunities exist to improve the post-conversion experience. Phone numbers are not consistently clickable, creating friction for mobile users. The website also lacks immediate confirmation emails, automated follow-up messaging, and helpful post-submission resources that could keep prospects engaged. Additionally, no same-day follow-up was received after inquiry submission, preventing a higher score in this category.

Website UX

Score: 14/20

This was one of Alamo Roofing's strongest categories. The website features strong architecture, intuitive navigation, excellent mobile responsiveness, and fast page load speeds. The site also contains substantial content depth, including frequently asked questions and educational resources that help address common customer concerns. While the foundation is strong, the visual design feels somewhat dated and the animated, bouncing call-to-action buttons can be distracting rather than helpful. Despite these minor issues, the website delivers one of the stronger user experiences in the evaluation.

SEO Visibility

Score: 21/35

Alamo Roofing excelled in organic search visibility. Across the roofing-related searches evaluated, the company appeared on the first page of Google results for eight queries, within four AI Overview results, and in two Local Map Pack listings. This broad visibility demonstrates a strong SEO strategy supported by quality content, effective local optimization, and strong search authority. Among all companies reviewed, Alamo was one of the most consistently visible across multiple search result types.

Brand Reputation & Local SEO

Score: 12/15

Alamo Roofing ranked among the top 40% of businesses evaluated in this category. The company has built a strong reputation through its Google Business Profile and customer review presence, helping reinforce trust and credibility in local search results. While the profile is already a strength, increasing review volume into the 100+ range could further improve visibility and help the company compete with the highest-performing brands in the market.

#1 Ironhead Roofing

Ironhead Roofing

Score: 70.5/100

Summary

I was honestly not surprised by this ranking. Ironhead Roofing earned the top spot by excelling across nearly every category evaluated. The company has built a comprehensive digital marketing ecosystem that combines aggressive paid advertising, strong organic search visibility, an exceptional local reputation, and responsive lead management. Unlike many competitors that perform well in only one or two areas, Ironhead consistently appears wherever prospective customers are searching, whether through paid ads, organic results, AI Overviews, or Local Map Pack listings. Their digital strategy demonstrates a clear investment in customer acquisition and brand visibility, making them the benchmark against which other roofing companies in this market should be measured. Honestly shout out to whoever is running their digital marketing efforts, they’re doing a great job.

Paid Advertising Visibility

Score: 15/15

Ironhead Roofing achieved a perfect score in this category. The company consistently appeared at the top of search results for high-intent roofing-related keywords and maintained visibility across multiple Google advertising placements and formats. In addition to its Google presence, Ironhead was actively running campaigns across Meta platforms, demonstrating a diversified paid media strategy. The company also appears to be investing heavily in competitive branded search terms and remarketing efforts, ensuring it remains visible throughout the customer journey.

Marketing Automation & Lead Capture

Score: 9/15

While not the highest-scoring company in this category, Ironhead delivered one of the strongest lead capture experiences evaluated. Calls-to-action are clear and easy to find, making it simple for prospective customers to request information or schedule an estimate. The company's most impressive differentiator was response speed, with follow-up occurring within an hour of inquiry submission. This level of responsiveness helps maximize conversion opportunities and demonstrates a strong commitment to lead management.

Website UX

Score: 14/20

Ironhead's website provides one of the better user experiences among the companies evaluated. The site is mobile responsive, logically organized, and supported by high-quality imagery and content. Navigation is intuitive, page layouts are clean, and calls-to-action are prominently displayed throughout the user journey. The primary opportunity for improvement is mobile page speed, which occasionally impacts performance. While the visual design is not the most modern or visually striking in the market, the website succeeds where it matters most: helping visitors easily find information and take action.

SEO Visibility

Score: 24.5/35

Ironhead delivered the strongest SEO performance of any company evaluated. The company appeared in six AI Overview results, six Local Map Pack results, and ranked on the first page of Google for five of the ten high-intent searches analyzed. This broad visibility reflects a well-executed SEO strategy built on localized service content, strong keyword targeting, and a website that demonstrates expertise within its market. Ironhead consistently appeared wherever customers were searching, creating a significant competitive advantage.

Brand Reputation & Local SEO

Score: 15/15

This was another category where Ironhead achieved a perfect score. Its Corvallis Google Business Profile maintained more than double the review volume of the next closest competitor while still sustaining an impressive 4.8-star rating. This exceptional review profile creates powerful social proof, strengthens consumer trust, and likely contributes to the company's dominant visibility within Google's Local Map Pack results. From a reputation management perspective, Ironhead has established itself as the clear market leader.

So what does this mean for your business?

Look, if you're a roofer in Corvallis or Albany, you're not actively looking to grow, and most of your business comes from referrals, repeat customers, or your reputation in the community, then being near the bottom of this list probably isn't something you need to lose sleep over.

This ranking only matters if you're trying to grow your business, generate more leads, increase website traffic, or capture market share from competitors.

That's one of the reasons we don't lock businesses into long-term contracts at Desert Fox Digital. If your schedule is already full and you're turning away work, digital visibility probably isn't your biggest challenge right now.

That said, there is one important caveat.

If your lead pipeline eventually slows down and you've never invested in SEO, brand reputation, website development, or paid advertising, you'll have an uphill climb in order to be competitive. Digital visibility takes time to build, and waiting until leads dry up is usually the most expensive time to begin investing in marketing.

If you found your company near the bottom of this list and you're actively looking to grow, the good news is that I've already identified several opportunities that could help increase your visibility, generate more leads, and improve your competitive position online.

If you'd like a second set of eyes on your marketing, request a free digital marketing audit. We'll review what's working, identify what's holding you back, and discuss a strategy to help you outrank competitors, reach new customers, generate more qualified leads, and grow your business.
