Desert Fox Digital Marketing Privacy Policy
Google Analytics & Advanced Tracking Disclosures
Collection & Use of Analytics Data
We use Google Analytics (a web analytics service provided by Google LLC) to measure, analyze, and optimize website traffic, user interactions, and performance. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address, device type, operating system, browser settings, and on-site behavior. This data is gathered using first-party cookies and unique identifiers to understand how visitors engage with our content.
For more details on how Google handles and processes data, please review Google's Privacy & Terms.
Google Signals Data Collection
When enabled, Google Signals allows Google Analytics to collect cross-device reporting and remarketing data. This occurs when visitors are logged into their Google Accounts and have turned on Ads Personalization. Google Signals compiles anonymous, aggregated insights into audience demographics (such as age and gender) and interests across multiple devices.
Opt-Out: You can manage or turn off Ads Personalization across your Google account by visiting Google My Ad Center.
User-ID Tracking
We utilize Google Analytics User-ID features to analyze user journeys across different sessions and devices. When you create an account or log in to our website, we may assign a unique, non-personally identifiable internal identifier (User-ID). This ID is passed to Google Analytics to combine your activity data across devices into a single report, helping us deliver a continuous experience. The User-ID generated is strictly pseudonymous and does not contain directly identifying personal information like your raw name or email address.
User-Provided Data & Enhanced Conversions
When you submit information on our site (such as filling out a contact form, requesting a quote, or making a purchase), we may collect first-party data like your email address, phone number, or name.
To improve our advertising measurement and conversion accuracy, we use Google’s User-Provided Data (or Enhanced Conversions) feature. Before this data is sent to Google, it is securely converted into a standardized, hashed string (using a one-way secure cryptographic algorithm, SHA-256) directly in your browser. Google uses these hashed strings solely to match form submissions with active Google ad interactions and does not store or share your unhashed raw personal details.
How to Control & Opt-Out of Data Collection
You can opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics across websites using the following options:
Browser Opt-Out: Install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits on any website.
Browser Settings: Adjust your web browser settings to block or delete cookies directly. Note that disabling cookies may affect certain functionalities of this website.
